“Selman Stermasi” Stadium finally switches lights on!
For the very first time in the 70-year old history of “Selman Stermasi” Stadium, lights of the plant installed since January have finally turned on! Today an official test was performed successfully. The lighting plant has therefore completed another necessary standard for the white & blue home, which will host the first evening match Sunday.
At 18:30, in the presence of directing staff, technical staff and player, was played a friendly testing match between Tirana U-17 and U-19. The technical result was not important and match was played through applauses and a good humour through the people present. There was a number of curious fans on stadium’s stands, who rushed to see for the first time football played in the evening at this stadium. Everything went very well. Sunday at 17:00, Tirana will host the match against Kukesi, which is very important for Tirana’s target of reaching the “Europe” zone. KF Tirana invites all white & blue fans to come in the stadium and support the squad. It the only way of progressing towards a better tomorrow.
